The Graziadio School of Business Offers Entrepreneurship MBA Focus

A Los Angeles-based business consultant and strategist, Julia Cominos serves multiple high-end clients such as art studios and luxury day spas. Before launching her successful consulting career, Julia Cominos earned a master of business administration from Pepperdine University.

Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business offers students the choice between multiple areas of concentration for their business studies. A concentration in entrepreneurship is one option available to students enrolled in the 15 and 20-month MBA programs. The school’s entrepreneurship curriculum is designed to help students tap into their creativity and develop the tools to translate their business idea into a full-fledged venture.

Pepperdine’s MBA entrepreneurship concentration consists of two courses focused on honing in on students’ best new business ideas, followed by three courses that walk students through the steps of building organizational structure, understanding the market, and planning ways to generate profits. In the final course in the entrepreneurship series, students pull together a business plan that they present to a panel of experienced investors.
